Back-to-Class Bridge
The back-to-class bridge is a transition focused specifically on bridging the time between pod and class. As adolescents, many students find it difficult to transition between settings in their daily environment. Our pod structure and activities are very different from many of our classroom structures and activities.
Transition time allows for students to move from the more relaxed or high energy atmosphere of pod to one that would be more conducive to learning within the classroom.
A variety of activities can be done to support this transition. In the box below you will find some brief examples. For activities in this area, please refer to the Pod Resource Library category folder called Routines and the sub-folder within this labeled Transition.
